Chuck Luppy
Kathy Simpson Luppy sent us this concerning her husband, Chuck.
Chuck Luppy passed from this life suddenly on September 30, 1990 in Jacksboro, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathy; daughter, Allyson; and sons Michael and Alan.
Chuck was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Tulsa Central High School where he met the love of his life, his wife Kathy (Simmons). He was quite the jokester even then. He had many interests that he pursued over the years including becoming a “rodeo” cowboy participating in the team roper competition. He also enjoyed leather work and shopping, especially in any store that sold leather goods. Hunting and fishing were some of his hobbies and he had many funny stories of his hunting experiences.
Chuck was a born salesman and also remembered every joke he had ever heard. He always had one ready! At the time of his death, he was manager of the conversion van department for James Wood Motors in Decatur, Texas.
Services were held at NorthWood Baptist Church in Keller, Texas.
